We are a dedicated group of doctors, nurses, and non-medical personnel who care deeply about the wonderful people of the Dominican Republic. We have built amazing relationships that we cherish since first coming in 2006, which is why we continue to return each year.

 

Casa De Luz is the 501(c)3 that was started to make these trips possible. We are a small team of volunteers, with no paid staff, who work together each year to make these trips possible. These trips are completely funded by the generosity of individual donors as well as donations from medical organizations such at SEE International, Americares, MAP International, Alcon, and others. We work tirelessly each year to procure all the necessary equipment for the success of our trip as we must bring everything with us that is needed for the surgeries and clinics we put on.
